Pilates and Yoga retreat with Variety Fitness 24th March 2017








Enjoy a two night stay in Ilam Hall, a beautiful 17th Century Gothic Manor set in 84 acres of National Trust parkland. Located next to the River Manifold, near Ashbourne in the stunning Peak district. Great location for walking and cycling or simply relaxing for the weekend.


Arrive : check in from 3pm

5:30pm – Introductions and outline of the weekend.

6:30pm – Evening Meal:

8:30pm – Hatha Yoga: A gentle yoga practice to ease in to the weekend, comprising of breathing techniques and asanas (yoga poses).


7am – Slow flow Yoga: hatha yoga asanas in flowing sequences, positions will be shown first before guided through the flow. Includes relaxation at the end of the session.

7:30-9:30am – Breakfast:

10am – Pilates: A modern pilates class focusing on posture, joint stability and core strength.

11am – Time to enjoy your surroundings, take a walk, go for a bike ride (cycle store available) or just simply relax.

2-4pm – Led countryside walk

5pm – Pilates: A classical pilates class using the original moves of Joseph Pilates focusing on abdominal strength and toning and core stability.

6:30pm – Evening Meal:

8:30pm -Yin Yoga: Original hatha yoga asanas held for an increased length of time to improve muscle strength and create deep relaxation.


7:30-9:30am – Breakfast

10:30am – Hatha yoga: breathing techniques, yoga asanas and relaxation to send you on your way relaxed and refreshed.

All sessions are optional but included in the price. No previous yoga or pilates experience required. Group sessions will be taken by Sarah or David. One to one bespoke tailored sessions of pilates or yoga are available over the weekend at an additional cost, please contact us to arrange.
